Process

From First Conversation to Move-In

Whether you are looking for an available Pride-Built home or planning a custom home, we make the next steps clear—from the homesite and scope to selections, construction and final walkthrough.

01

Tell us what you’re looking for

Share your preferred area, budget, bedroom count, timeline and whether you already own land. Call, visit the office, or send the contact form.

02

Choose an available home or custom build

We will help you decide whether an available or upcoming Pride-Built home, a semi-custom plan, or a custom home on your land is the right fit.

03

Review the homesite

We review the property, access, site conditions and what will be required before construction. If clearing, grading, driveway work or septic installation is needed, our affiliated site-work company, David Ray Services, can provide a separate evaluation and proposal.

04

Finalize plans, selections and pricing

Plans, approved layout and finish selections, and pricing are confirmed before work is scheduled. Changes that affect price or schedule must be documented and approved in writing.

05

Complete contract, financing and permit requirements

The written agreement identifies inclusions, exclusions, allowances and payment terms. Financing and permit requirements are completed before construction begins.

06

Build the home

Construction typically includes site preparation, foundation, framing, dry-in, mechanical rough-ins, insulation, drywall, finishes, inspections and final completion.

07

Final inspections, walkthrough and handoff

After required final inspections, we walk the home with the customer, document any remaining completion items and review applicable closing or final-payment requirements. Keys are delivered after the requirements of the signed agreement have been satisfied.
